Faith has been found to be a protective factor against adverse mental health outcomes such as suicidal ideation and attempted suicide. During a very uncertain time in our country, one’s faith and spirituality can be a source of hope and comfort. How has the history of faith communities helped to support Black mental health? How can faith communities support Black people in our current context? Join us and our panel of experts to discuss these questions and provide resources centered on faith and mental wellness for Black Americans.
