Faith has been found to be a protective factor against adverse mental health outcomes such as suicidal ideation and attempted suicide. During a very uncertain time in our country, one’s faith and spirituality can be a source of hope and comfort. How has the history of faith communities helped to support Black mental health? How can faith communities support Black people in our current context?
