Description
Healthy Plaes by Design is hosting this webinar discussing the Narratives that convey the deep values and beliefs about the way we view the world and the ways in which our communities operate. They can often be more powerful than facts or data in influencing public opinion and community practices. Dominant narratives can either help or hinder efforts to create equitable and socially connected communities. Join us to explore how transformative narratives can support socially connected communities. Joanne Lee, Senior Project Director with Healthy Places by Design, will share about the Narratives for Health initiative and its process to develop national socially connected communities narratives. Tina Crave, President and CEO of the Greater Watertown Health Foundation, will describe her partnership’s process for tailoring narratives to fit local community context.
