BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESOURCES

The Howard County Health Department (HCHD) Bureau of Behavioral Health is committed to promote, preserve, and protect the behavioral health of all in Howard County. This includes assisting any Maryland resident, who has served or is currently serving, and their families with access to mental-health and substance-use services. The HCHD Bureau of Behavioral Health can help you with:

  • Opioid misuse prevention, opioid education and awareness, training, and distribution of Naloxone
  • Suicide resources for prevention, intervention, and postvention
  • Substance use recovery support, safe usage resources, referrals to programs
