John Hopkins Medicine's Mental Health First Aid Class
Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based course that teaches the skills to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, as well as how to provide someone with initial support until they are connected to appropriate professional help.
Learn risk factors and warning signs and strategies to help someone in crisis and noncrisis situations, and where to turn for help.
This is a two-part course that includes an online, self-paced course and a virtual, instructor-led class. The online course must be completed at least 48 hours before the instructor-led class and takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
