Mayfield Woods Middle School - Community Safety Walk

Join the Howard County Local Health Improvement Coalition (HCLHIC) and the Mayfield Woods Middle School PTA for a Community Safety Walk focused on improving walking and biking conditions for students and families.

📍 Location: Mayfield Woods Middle School,7950 Red Barn Way, Elkridge, MD 21075

📌 Meeting Point: Front parking lot

Take part in this interactive walk as we explore the sidewalks, crossings, and routes students use every day. Together, we’ll identify what feels safe, what may be challenging, and what improvements could help create a more accessible and welcoming environment.

What to Expect:

• 🛑 Discussion of pedestrian and bike safety
• 📝 Opportunity to share feedback and ideas
• 🎁 Giveaways along the way

Your input will help inform future safety improvements, such as enhanced crosswalks, traffic-calming measures, and better connections to nearby community spaces.
