CAMS-CARE Training: Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality
The Howard County Health Department is offering CAMS-CARE Training (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality), an evidence-based, suicide-focused treatment framework designed for behavioral health clinicians.
This training provides practical tools and strategies to help clinicians assess and manage suicidality using the CAMS model while enhancing patient-centered care.

Training Benefits
Participants who complete the full training—including the self-guided Foundational Video Course, Virtual Role Play Training, and four consultation calls—will receive 10 FREE Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
In exchange for the training, participating clinicians will be asked to submit a brief quarterly datasheet tracking their use of the CAMS model to the Local Behavioral Health Authority.
